Philosophers without number have tried to reconcile "all is illusion" Parmenides with "I refute it thus" Berkeley. Many if not most philosophers have been suckered by the supreme arrogance of Descartes' "cogito ergo sum," which doesn't close the gap but only accentuates it. If you can achieve a synthesis, good luck.
